A child cries out into the night
A husband and wife begin to fight
A mother can't hold her baby tight

We are all fine here.

A young man is shot during the war
A bullied teen can't take anymore
A rich family suddenly becomes poor

We are all fine here.  

A daughter watches her daddy die
A pair of friends have to say good-bye
A real man's not allowed to cry

We are all fine here.

A patient's running out of air
A child's parents don't even care
A world exists that isn't fair

We are all fine here.

A girl's innocence was wrenched away
A home has too many bills to pay
A life will be snatched again today

We are all fine here.

A gun is aimed at a person's head
A homeless man will never be fed
A million tears will now be shed

We are all fine here.
